Our scriptures remind us that Annadaan (the gift of food) is the highest form of charity, for it sustains life itself. When food is offered with devotion and a pure heart, it becomes a prayer in action and a blessing for both the giver and the receiver.

Join us in this sacred journey of Seva, Daan, and Dharma. Together, let us receive the blessings that come from feeding those whom God sends our way.

“Where there is selfless giving, there is God’s presence.”

May every donation become a blessing. May every meal become a prayer.

Donating Raincoats to Underprivileged School-Going Children

Education should never be interrupted by the challenges of the weather. For many underprivileged school-going children, the rainy season brings difficulties such as walking long distances in heavy rain, arriving at school drenched, and falling ill due to inadequate protection. These hardships often lead to absenteeism and affect their learning.

The initiative to donate raincoats to underprivileged school children aims to address this need by providing them with essential protection during the monsoon.

Cost of one raincoat is ₹285. Please support with as many as you can. All donations will receive 50% tax exemption.

If you know of anyone who wishes to sponsor a few raincoats, kindly share our message.

WE ARE ELATED! Kindred Foundation has adopted a pre-primary school at NM Joshi Marg, Lower Parel.

Dreams don’t come true at a fixed time like a date on a calendar—they come true when preparation, effort, and opportunity meet.

When your school becomes real, it won’t feel like a sudden moment. It will feel like a quiet realization one day… when you see children walking through the gate, hear classrooms full of curiosity, and notice that something you once imagined now exists in front of you it’s exhilarating.

Giving underprivileged children a good education is the first step towards breaking the cycle of poverty.

We need all the help from you to run the day to day operations and immediate funds to operate an intensive teachers training programme. Donations in any kind are welcome for the following –

* Stationery, books, teaching aid materials

* Sponsor a child’s annual education fees

* Story books and toys for children aged 5-7 years.

* Furniture for storage & Childrens play equipments.

Come and visit us anyday! We would love to see you spend time and engage with our children in school.

With heartfelt thanks

MAHA SHIVRATRI

“In our tradition, serving spiritual seekers,  monks and the needy has always been of utmost importance. This can be a path in itself. The most beautiful expression of this is the Annadanam – the sacred offering of food.”

Mahashivratri is more than just a spiritual event, it is a time to celebrate compassion, selflessness, and the chance to create a positive impact. On this upcoming Mahashivratri in 2026, come together with KINDRED FOUNDATION to make a difference in people’s lives through the act of giving. Your donations on Mahashivratri can provide nourishment to the underprivileged children, adults and patients at various hospitals.
